Hukumonline, an Indonesia-based digital legal services provider, has secured a series B round from the Media Development Investment Fund (MDIF). The amount is undisclosed.

In a LinkedIn post, CEO Arkka Dhiratara said the company will use the funds to further develop the Regulatory Compliance System (RCS) – its flagship product – as well as what he calls Indonesia’s first generative AI tool in the legal field.

Enterprise customers can use its AI-powered RCS to check and monitor legal compliance in a real-time and comprehensive way, the company said.

Founded in 2000 by several legal practitioners and lawyers, Hukumonline provides information on laws and regulations in Indonesia, as well as services such as legal consultations and business licensing assistance. The firm claimed to have “thousands” of clients, including law offices, government institutions, and universities.
