JAMS, the largest private provider of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services worldwide, announces it has created new rules governing disputes involving artificial intelligence (AI), effective immediately. The rules reflect the latest developments and trends in the ADR space and address the rise in usage and development of AI systems and smart contracts.

“These new rules will help address the exponential rise in artificial intelligence systems and the intersection of AI technology and dispute resolution. JAMS is committed to remaining at the forefront of evolving technology and providing robust and forward-thinking solutions to the attorneys and parties that we serve.” said Chris Poole, JAMS CEO.

The JAMS AI Disputes Clause and Rules refine and clarify procedures for cases involving AI systems.
