Lexroom announced that it has secured $19 million in a Series A funding round led by Silicon Valley’s Base10 Partners. The round also brought in Spanish venture firm Acurio Ventures, Diego Piacentini’s View Different fund, Riccardo Zacconi, and several strategic angel investors. This latest investment follows a €2 million seed round just six months ago, which itself came after an initial €500,000 pre-seed raise. The fresh capital will support Lexroom’s plans to expand rapidly across Europe and continue refining its product.

Paolo Fois, co-founder and CEO of Lexroom, said, “We have raised 22 million USD in total,19 million USD with our Series A and the remaining between seed and pre-seed. The motivation for starting Lexroom came from a clear market need. With the rise of large language models, we saw an opportunity in the legal sector, where research and repetitive tasks take up huge amounts of time. Most existing AI tools were too generic and not adapted to the hyper-localised needs of legal professionals. The idea was born in a venture builder, where the three of us met, and Martina brought the initial insight: combining advanced AI with highly localised legal data could transform legal work. From there, we validated the concept and built Lexroom to give professionals back their time and focus.”
Lexroom’s platform leverages AI models trained specifically on legal data from multiple European countries, addressing a key weakness in many legal tech products that rely on outdated or generic datasets. The result is a tool that delivers precise, jurisdiction-aware insights at speed, while safeguarding sensitive information.
