Pinsent Masons has announced a global, firmwide strategic partnership with legal AI platform Legora, following a pilot across its Corporate, Commercial and Property groups.
Legora will now be rolled out across Transactional Services and Property, with pilots set to begin in all other practice groups. Pinsent Masons said the programme will bring its total number of Legora users to 1,000, with plans to expand further as new use cases are proven. The Firm’s trained cohort of AI Champions, spanning Associate through to Partner, will support adoption and upskilling across teams.
Pinsent Masons said the partnership will focus on collaboration with Legora to explore and co-create AI applications across legal workflows, with an emphasis on enhancing the client experience.
Neil Green, Director of Transformation, said: “Our structured pilot… enabled us to rapidly pinpoint effective use cases… our phased firmwide implementation will deliver meaningful results far more quickly.”
Clare Francis, Head of Change & Innovation Board, added: “By collaborating closely with Legora, we’re bringing together the best of human expertise and advanced AI… helping us deliver smarter, faster and more meaningful outcomes for clients.”
Alex Fortescue-Webb, Head of Legal Engineering at Legora, said: “Pinsent Masons’ disciplined approach to the pilot… enabled us to fine-tune the platform in ways that directly supported their priorities and accelerated what we could achieve together.”
