Ana has 23 years of experience as General Counsel of Amazon – where she led Southern Europe, Germany and the UK for the last 11 years -, the renewable energy giant Iberdrola Renovables, S.A. – where she was responsible for its international expansion and successful IPO – and the worldwide internet holding Terra Lycos – where she led the growth of advertising and ecommerce channels in Spain, USA and LatAm. 

Before, she was a corporate lawyer at the prestigious law firms Uria Menendez (Madrid) and Sidley & Austin (NYC and London) for 8 years. – Ana is now the Senior Advisor of PWC Tax & Legal, based in Madrid. She advises General Counsels in the design and implementation of innovative tech solutions for transformation of in-house legal departments.  

Ana is an elected deputy of the Governing Board of the Madrid Bar Association, with responsibility over in-house lawyering and relationships with North America, and Vice-chair of the ICAM Foundation, that channels the Madrid Bar ESG initiatives. She is also an Advisory Board member of several companies in EU, USA and LatAm. 

Ana is a recognized public speaker and an expert in the transformation and leadership of the in-house Legal function and an University professor at Instituto de Empresa and Universidad de Navarra (Madrid).
