Opus 2 has acquired Bundledocs, the Cork-based developer of collaborative document bundling software, marking its third acquisition in five years.
The deal expands Opus 2’s capabilities across the dispute lifecycle and will support its enterprise offering for law firms with multijurisdictional practices. Bundledocs provides cloud-based software for preparing, reviewing and managing complex legal document workflows, with 1,900 clients across 35 countries, including more than 100 of the UK’s top 200 law firms.
Bundledocs will join an Opus 2 business whose technology is used by 98% of the Am Law 50 and 96% of the top 50 global firms, with legal teams collaborating on more than 1,800 matters each month.
Greg Blackman, CEO at Opus 2, said: “Our growth story is one of innovation, but it’s always through the lens of doing what’s best for law firms. That’s exactly the reason for this acquisition – by working together, we’ll ensure our clients have every possible advantage and efficiency.”
