No code. Just ideas.

LegalTechTalk Vibeathon

“Vibe coding” is changing everything.

For the first time, you don’t need to code to build software.
You just need an idea — and the ability to direct AI.

The question is no longer “can you build it?”
It’s “what will you build?”

The LegalTechTalk Vibeathon was where that shift came to life.

The barrier to building in LegalTech had always been technical skill. At LegalTechTalk 2026, that barrier felt like it had gone.

We saw a glimpse of a world where lawyers became product designers, operators became builders and ideas moved faster than ever before.

So, what did it look like in action?

The Challenge.

Over two days, attendees competed to use AI tools to generate, refine, and iterate on real LegalTech concepts – turning prompts into working prototypes using replit, fast.

Working across three themes shaping the legal industry today, participants built, submitted, and competed to create the most impactful solution.

Judges and mentors were on-hand throughout to guide, challenge, and champion the ideas that stand out.

No dev team required. No technical background expected. Just thinking, perspective, and ability to shape something new.

The question is no longer “can you build it?”

It’s “what will you build?”

How it worked

It’s as simple as 1, 2, 3

1. Come with an idea
Arrive with a concept, problem, or prompt you want to explore.

2. Build with AI
Use AI tools to create and iterate – with live demos, guidance, and support throughout.

3. Submit & showcase
Upload your prototype and see how it stacks up.

Themes

It's competition time...

Participants built prototypes within one of three tracks:

  1. Lawyer Training
Build tools that rethink how lawyers learn, train, and develop skills.
  2. Access to Justice
Create solutions that expand access, efficiency, and fairness.
  3. Freestyle
No rules. Build whatever you think the industry needs next. From law firm–client collaboration and regulatory navigation to legal triage and beyond.

Your Prize Awaits

3 themes, 3 winners

Winning teams were recognised live on stage at LegalTechTalk – with an official LTT trophy to prove it.

Winners also received:

  • One year of premium access to Replit
  • Access to an exclusive Masterclass, including:
    • Investor insights
    • Product & development learning
    • Go-to-market strategy

And it wasn’t just the winners. All Vibeathon participants received one month of premium Replit access to continue building beyond the competition.

Step In. Start Building.

Start on Day 1 of LegalTechTalk 2026, 17 June with a 20-minute briefing on the Marquee Stage, then head straight to the dedicated Vibeathon zone on the exhibition floor.

There, you can join live demos, drop into guided sessions, and build using Replit at your own pace across the competition.

To be considered by the judges, you must submit your prototype by 12pm on Friday 18 June.

Upload your project to vibecode.law before the deadline, and share periodic progress updates throughout the day.

How Will You Be Assessed?

Throughout the vibeathon, our judges – made up of senior leaders from top law firms, tech, and consulting – will be checking in with teams and reviewing progress.

Your solution will be evaluated on:

  • Innovation – Are you rethinking what’s possible?

  • Feasibility – Can it be realistically implemented?

  • Impact – Will it drive real change in the legal industry?
