Epiq has acquired data breach response technology company Canopy, bringing the company’s platform and team into its cyber solutions business.
Canopy’s technology is used to assess exposed data, identify sensitive information and determine individuals affected by cyber incidents. Its platform will now be integrated into Epiq AI and made available through the Epiq Service Cloud, extending Epiq’s use of AI across cyber incident response.
The Canopy team will also join Epiq, including former Chief Operating Officer Adi Elliott, who becomes Vice President, Product Management, Cyber. Canopy’s engineers and cyber response specialists will contribute to the continued development of Epiq AI for Cyber.
Scott Berger, Senior Vice President, Managed Services and Cyber Solutions at Epiq, said: “By welcoming its technology and engineering talent into our team, clients benefit from a more connected breach response experience. They gain next-generation cyber solutions that further reduce risk exposure through proactive preparedness and strengthen post-event response with AI.”
