Australian legal tech startup Mary Technology has raised $7m AUD in a funding round led by OIF Ventures, with participation from Sydney Angels and Empress Capital, as it looks to expand into the US.
The company has also opened a San Francisco office. Its Fact Management System helps litigation and dispute lawyers review and verify facts, with the funding set to support US expansion and broader reach into small and midsize law firms.
Daniel Lord-Doyle, Co-Founder and CEO of Mary Technology, said: “The U.K., the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, Australia, we all share some similar processes, and they’re our first targets, of course, beginning with the U.S. and then the U.K. will follow shortly afterwards.”
