Noxtua has raised more than €100 million in Series C funding, with German legal publisher C.H.BECK becoming the Legal AI company’s majority shareholder and Austria’s MANZ joining as a new investor.
The funding will support Noxtua’s continued development and expansion into additional European markets. C.H.BECK previously invested in Noxtua’s Series B round in 2025, while the latest deal represents the largest investment in the publisher’s history.
Founded in Berlin in 2017, Noxtua launched its Legal AI platform in 2024 and now has more than 30,000 users, around 100 employees and six locations across Europe. Its jurisdiction-specific Legal AI Workspaces use curated legal content from a network of European legal publishers, including C.H.BECK and MANZ.
Dr. Leif-Nissen Lundbæk, CEO and founder of Noxtua, said: “We are pleased to be taking the next steps in our expansion together with C.H.BECK and MANZ as investors in our Series C funding round. We are developing Noxtua based on exclusive content from leading legal publishers across the continent, and have already built, among other things, Europe’s largest legal database and Europe’s largest network of independent legal publishers.”
