Pandektes has raised €13.5 million in Series A funding led by Alstin Capital, with participation from PROfounders, Scale Capital and existing investors.
The funding comes less than two years after launch, with more than 500 law firms, companies and public institutions now using the legal research platform. Pandektes says around two-thirds of organisations that test the platform go on to become customers.
The company plans to expand beyond legal research by developing its legal information infrastructure and opening more of its platform through its API. Its aim is to provide continuously updated and structured legal data that can be used by AI agents and other legal technology systems across jurisdictions.
Pandektes said: “We believe the next generation of legal technology therefore needs a new data layer beneath it: legal information structured consistently across jurisdictions, continuously updated, connected to its original sources and built from the ground up for AI agents and other machine systems.”
