Pittsburgh law firm Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney has introduced its own generative AI product, known as Artifex, for use within its firm, and it aspires to introduce it to the market so other law firms can use it.
At Buchanan Ingersoll, finding a solution became the task of Jeff Lagana, the firm’s director of enterprise operations and security. According to Buchanan Ingersoll’s CTO, Scott Angelo, the firm is looking at the commercial implications of releasing Artifex.
“We just haven’t gotten to the point where we’re comfortable opening it up to other law firms yet,” Lagana adds.
