Pillsbury has become the first AmLaw 100 law firm to adopt rubi’s newly launched AI Mentor, bringing the legal training platform into its associate development programme.
Following a successful pilot with first-year associates, Pillsbury will introduce rubi’s deal simulations and AI Mentor this autumn, providing junior lawyers with personalised practice, practical guidance and real-time feedback alongside traditional mentoring.
Developed by former transactional lawyers, the AI Mentor offers on-demand guidance, transactional exercises and simulated law firm interviews without requiring client or matter information. The announcement follows rubi’s partnerships with the University of Texas School of Law and the University of Minnesota Law School.
rubi founders Madison Keeble and Geetika Jerath said: “rubi is built on the belief that apprenticeship is still the best way to learn how to practice law, and that AI, used intentionally, can help it evolve with the profession.”
