Kate joined Ricardo plc as Legal Director in Autumn 2023. She has previously undertaken in-house legal leadership roles across various start-up, scale-up and multinational environments and was listed on the GC Powerlist in 2021.

Kate is passionate about diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) and social mobility – particularly in the context of diversifying the legal profession and enhancing a sense of belonging for every intersection of society. She recognises the plague of imposter syndrome in the legal community and regularly facilitates #IAmRemarkable workshops to initiate an open and honest conversation and help people take steps to overcome imposter syndrome by teaching them some of the skills required within the #IAmRemarkable framework. 

She also relishes the opportunity to champion the impact of legal innovation and technology and uses it to build best-in-class legal functions.
