Brazilian legal technology company Jusfy has announced a $15 million Series A funding round led by Quona Capital, with participation from Thomson Reuters Ventures, Spectra and existing investors The LegalTech Fund, FJ Labs, SaaSholic and Maya Capital.

The investment will support Jusfy’s expansion into financial services, building on its existing legal software platform. The company has launched Jusfy Pay, a digital account and billing platform for law firms, and plans to develop products including legal fee advances, client financing and lending backed by legal claims.

Founded in 2021, Jusfy says its platform now serves more than 60,000 legal professionals and has built an intelligence base covering approximately 350 million legal cases. CEO Rafael Bagolin said the company’s long-term ambition is to use this data to create a new credit infrastructure tailored to the legal sector. “I want to build a kind of credit score based on the legal process. When I know how much that process is worth, how long it takes, and what the probability of success is, I can offer credit with much more precision.”
