iManage and Thomson Reuters have expanded their strategic partnership, connecting Thomson Reuters AI, legal content and workflow solutions with organisational knowledge managed in iManage.
The collaboration will deepen the integration of CoCounsel Legal with iManage alongside connections with HighQ, Noetica, Contract Express and Legal Tracker. The companies are also introducing Model Context Protocol (MCP) support, enabling approved Thomson Reuters AI tools to access governed iManage content while maintaining existing access controls, ethical walls and privilege boundaries.
API-based integrations across the two companies’ platforms are available now, while MCP support is expected to follow.
Ryan Begin, Vice President, Technology Partnerships and Ecosystem Strategy at iManage, commented: “Through this partnership, Thomson Reuters’ authoritative legal content, AI and workflow capabilities can work alongside the governed knowledge managed in iManage – giving legal professionals access to the organisational context relevant to the work at hand while maintaining the controls they rely on.”
