Legora has raised a $550 million Series E at an $8.8 billion post-money valuation, up from $5.6 billion at its previous round. Atreides Management led the round, with new investors including Baron Capital, Capital Group, Fidelity Management & Research Company, Glade Brook Capital Partners and J.P. Morgan. Every major existing investor also took part.
Legora says its ARR stands at more than $200 million. In-house legal teams made up more than 40% of new customers in the third quarter, and more than half of the AmLaw 50 are customers in the US, now its largest market by revenue.
The funding will support expansion across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific and further investment in the Legora aOS, its agentic operating system, including new products for agentic intake, horizon scanning and legal research.
“AI is changing the role of the lawyer, with more time for judgment and advice, and it is reshaping how law firms and in-house legal teams are organized and how their work gets done,” said Max Junestrand, CEO and Co-Founder of Legora.
