Clio has announced new products and AI capabilities at ClioCon 2026, including agentic Workflows that let AI carry out processes across Clio Grow, Clio Manage and Clio Work.

Firms can build a Workflow from an existing standard operating procedure or by describing a process in everyday language, then inspect the steps and set review points before enabling it. Skills let lawyers save preferred methods and standards that guide how AI performs particular tasks. A new AI interface is initially available to pilot customers, and AI-powered Clio Timekeeping is in opt-in beta.

Other announcements include Clio Phones, which records, transcribes and summarises calls into the matter record, an AI native document editor in Clio Work and benchmarking against similar firms.

“By bringing intelligence into the systems lawyers already depend on, we’re creating a more connected experience where information, workflows, and legal work come together. This is the foundation for a fundamentally different way of running a law firm,” said John Foreman, Chief Product Officer at Clio.
