Elevate has acquired Lupl, the AI-native legal project management and workflow automation platform, as it expands its software business.

Launched in 2020, Lupl is used by legal teams to manage matters and workflows, including M&A transactions, regulatory projects and disputes. Following the acquisition, Elevate plans to continue developing the platform and expand its availability across its global customer base of law departments and law firms.

Lupl will join Elevate’s existing ELM and ELMA products, with the acquisition forming part of the company’s wider focus on how legal work is managed alongside growing use of AI.

Liam Brown, Chairman and CEO of Elevate, said: “Lupl has built a category-defining platform, a talented team, and a strong customer base that includes some of the world’s leading law firms. Together with ELM and ELMA, Lupl advances our vision for automating legal work by connecting teams and data across matters and workflows.”
