Legatics has launched data rooms, expanding its transaction management platform with secure document sharing for law firms.
The new capability enables legal teams to manage due diligence and share confidential documents within the same platform they use to run transactions, removing the need for separate data room software. Legatics said the feature has been driven by demand from firms across the US, UK, Ireland and Germany, with early adopters including White & Case, Schoenherr and Hill Dickinson.
The solution integrates with iManage and NetDocuments, allowing lawyers to create and manage secure data rooms with granular permissions, version control and full audit trails.
Rob MacAdam, Chief Product & Strategy Officer at Legatics, said: “Law firms don’t need the complexity of a general-purpose collaboration platform to run a transaction data room. They need purpose-built tools that lawyers can pick up and use from day one.”
