Lina Law has appointed Diego Lambrecht as Founding Partner of Lina Law Belgium, its first affiliated law firm in Belgium. The Brussels-based firm will advise companies, investors and management teams, and his appointment took effect on 1 November.
Lambrecht joins from Bird & Bird in Brussels, where he was Counsel in the Corporate & Finance practice, and previously practised at Willkie Farr & Gallagher and Crowell & Moring. The firm will cover M&A, private equity, venture capital, governance and commercial contracts, with the scope and fixed fee of each engagement agreed before work begins.
Lina, which launched publicly in September and is backed by Hexa, combines lawyer-led local firms with Lina OS, its infrastructure of AI agents, and a legal engineering team. Belgium and France are its first growth markets.
“Working with legal engineers and agents from the outset gives us the opportunity to rethink how matters are prepared, while preserving the core of our profession: advising, negotiating and standing behind our recommendations,” said Diego Lambrecht, Founding Partner of Lina Law Belgium.
